Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission Surpasses 90 Crore ABHA Accounts, Expanding India's Health Ecosystem

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission has surpassed 90 crore ABHA accounts, according to a recent Press Release from the Press Information Bureau, providing a robust digital platform for health services across the country today.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi highlighted the milestone as evidence of the government’s effort to build the world’s largest digital health ecosystem, emphasizing expansion of digital infrastructure and integration of health data across states.

Digital Health Ecosystem now connects hospitals, insurers, and beneficiaries, enabling streamlined access to health services across India by providing a unified digital platform that reduces administrative delays and improves service coordination.

Health Ministry noted that the mission’s integration of health data supports nationwide coverage and improves service delivery efficiency by enabling real-time monitoring of health outcomes and guiding targeted interventions effectively.
