Chandigarh University Co‑hosts National Space Technology Conclave With ISRO to Shape Future Satellite Partnerships

Chandigarh University will co‑host the National Space Technology Conclave with ISRO on its main campus in Chandigarh, assembling academic researchers, industry engineers and government officials to examine satellite design, launch operations and emerging space applications.

Group Capt Shubhanshu Shukla joins a roster of 30 space scientists, including senior ISRO engineers and defense researchers, to share expertise on launch vehicle safety protocols, mission trajectory analysis and cross‑service coordination for upcoming LVM‑3 flights.

The Conclave will host three technical panels covering ISRO’s planned LVM‑3 launches, the development of small‑satellite constellations for communication and Earth observation, and frameworks for public‑private partnerships that aim to double India’s low‑earth‑orbit satellite capacity by 2030.

Organisers anticipate that outcomes such as joint research proposals, policy recommendations and industry commitments will feed into the Ministry of Science and Technology’s 15‑year space roadmap, strengthening India’s position in the crowded low‑earth‑orbit environment.
