India Expands Olympic Training Program Ahead of Los Angeles 2028 Games

Overseas Training Three overseas sites in the United States, Europe and Australia have been secured for Indian athletes, allowing them to train with international partners, access high‑performance sports medicine, and adapt to varied climates before major competitions.

Olympic Strategy Officials outlined a long‑term strategy targeting a higher medal tally at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics, emphasizing talent identification, sports science integration, and increased funding, including a revamped athlete stipend program, to bridge the gap with leading nations.
