India Announces Strategic Partnership With Canada At G20 Summit Boosting Trade And Climate Cooperation

Canada Foreign Office officials met with their Indian counterparts in New Delhi, issuing a joint statement that the two nations will launch bilateral working groups on renewable energy, digital trade and joint research on AI and green hydrogen.

G20 Summit The meeting, attended by leaders including U.S. President Joe Biden, placed the India‑Canada deal alongside discussions on the Ukraine conflict, climate finance and global health, highlighting Delhi’s role as a diplomatic hub.
