CoRover.ai launches BharatGPT DeskAI Appliance, an offline AI device designed to run large language models without internet connectivity, targeting Indian users in areas with limited network access.

BharatGPT operates locally on the appliance, eliminating reliance on cloud services and reducing data latency, a move aligned with national goals to democratize AI across diverse regions. The launch follows India's recent opening of 45,000 GPUs nationwide to accelerate AI development.

The Indian government has promoted the initiative as part of Prime Minister Modi’s vision to make AI accessible in multiple Indian languages, supporting digital inclusion and self‑reliant technology development. The rollout targets 22 Indian languages to broaden reach.
